Batikon a.k.a (Chicken Gizzard)
How to turn this simple chicken gizzard to a meal or a pulutan
- Prepare desired quantity of chicken gizzard to cook. 1/2 kl. is enough
- 1/4 cup garlic
- 1 bulb onions
- soy sauce / toyo/ patis
- vinegar
- sautee garlic and onion in a frying pan with less oil
- put in the gizzards together with the sauteed garlic and onion
- cover pan and wait for 6 minutes for the gizzard to tender
- add ample amount of toyo/patis
- add a small amount of vinegar and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- note: cooking must be done in low flame
- add a little amount of salt and pepper and leave it for a minute
Now your chicken gizzard is ready to be served as pulutan. Enjoy!!!
